'Frequently Asked Questions' about our embroidery designs
What formats do you offer?
Generally we offer our designs only in the four most common formats - DST, JEF, HUS and PES.
Why don't you offer other design formats?
The vast majority of our customers request one of the above formats. Since there are many good file conversion programs available, we feel that anyone requiring a different format can easily do their own conversions. By not offering all of the less common formats we spend less time creating designs and use considerably less storage space on our server. This helps us keep down costs.
Do you offer your designs in the ART format?
No, not at this time.
I don't have any conversion software. Where can I get it?
Wilcom offers a great little program that will convert your designs to and from most home and commercial machine formats. The program, TrueSizer, is free for the asking. You can download it here. There are many others, such as Embird, that offer free fully functional trial versions.
How are your designs delivered?
Our designs are delivered by immediate download. The only exceptions are 'CD Only' designs or projects that require shipping. Shortly after your purchase you will receive a confirmation email containing a link to download your designs. This link will be valid for 48 hours.
What if I didn't receive the confirmation email?
If this happens there is good chance our email was filtered by your provider and labeled as spam. Check your spam/junk mail folders for our email. If you don't find it there please contact us. We will be happy to email your designs to you.
Can I order my designs on disk or CD?
No. Our shopping cart does not add a shipping charge for any downloadable embroidery designs. In order for us to create a disk or CD for you, additional charges would be required to cover the cost of the media and shipping.
Do you include color charts with your designs?
Yes. All of our designs, except redwork and single color, include detailed color charts.
What are EDR files?
The .edr files we include with our designs are Embird color information files. We provide these files as a service to our customers who use Embird. These files store thread color information that allows the designs to display in the correct colors when opened in Embird. If you do not use Embird these files are of no use to you and can be ignored or deleted.
Can I resize your designs?
A generally accepted theory is that designs can be resized +/-20% without difficulty. However, resizing any design can drastically alter design properties. Your editing software can not interpret the intent of the digitizer. Many important elements built into the original design may be lost. We do not recommend resizing and can not be responsible for the quality of any resized design.

What if I lose the designs I purchased from you?
If something happens and you lose any of the designs you purchased from us, we will gladly replace them. Simply contact us with your original order number or other identifying information that will allow us to verify your order and email your replacement(s).
If there's no shipping charge, why must I enter my Zip Code or Country at check out?
Even though your order may not incur a shipping charge, our shopping cart requires certain information before it can complete your transaction. Until all the necessary information has been entered the Check Out buttons will not appear.

What forms of payment do you accept?
Online payments may be made with any major credit card through our secure server or through PayPal. Both options will be offered to you at check-out.
